In 2012, under the advisement of Tuhon Tim Waid, Geoffrey Green, who had already attained a strong proficiency in Traditional Filipino Martial Arts as well as a background in Jeet Kune Do, Krav Maga and American Boxing; relocated to San Antonio, Texas, specifically, to study Pekiti-Tirsia Kali under Mataas Na Guro Dustin Denson. Within two months of his introduction to SAPTK, his training was vastly supplemented by Tuhon Waid's authorization to attend his instructor-reserved seminars, where he has since welcomed the tutelage from the remainder of the organization's highest caliber. Geof prides himself on training hard and daily, both in honor of his teachers within and outside the circle of PTK and to consider himself fit for the title of Guro, which recieved from Tuhon Waid on February 21st, 2016. Geof remains a private student of Mataas Na Guro Denson and experiences epiphanies regarding the methodology of instructorship and close quarter combat regularly.

His Pekiti Tirsia Kali training began in 1990 with the late Guro Ricky Rillera. He trained with Ricky for many years along with his training partner at the time, Clint Grumbles. In 1995 he moved to Norman, Oklahoma to attend graduate school. While in Norman, he continued to teach and train in PTK at the USA Stars Foundation in Midwest City, Oklahoma. It was while living in Norman that he first met TuhonTim Waid in Dallas, Texas. He has continued training with Tuhon Tim privately and through seminars since 2000. Pekiti-Tirsia Kali is the sole martial art he now trains, practices, and teaches. He was awarded the rank of Mataas na Guro June 24th, 2012.
He is also a professional educator, having taught at both the college and secondary level. Teaching is his primary vocation; he knows how to teach what he knows effectively.
